The optical image is transmitted via a quartz bundle, of upto 12,000 fibres, which are only a few microns in diameter. This then allows the endoscope image shaft to tolerate bending, way beyond that of a glass rod rigid endoscope. With diameters as small as 0.6mm and lengths upto 3000mm, they allow even the most challenging components to be inspected - robustly and regularly.
Viewing tubes can be flexible stainless steel thin wall tube, or polymer flexible outer, both are fully sealed against most industrial fluids, fuels and liquids. All have eyepiece focus from 5mm - infinity and orbital shaft rotation is an option via mirror tubes.
ACMI light posts come as standard, with an included female adaptor, making compatibility with exiting light sources and light guides simple. The integrated, white light fibre optic light transmission fibers, allow the highest level of illumination to be evenly spread across the subject.
